We are thrilled to announce the first symposium of the Collaborative Research Center 1530 (CRC 1530), the aim of which is to share the latest developments in the biology and therapy of lymphoma. The program features an international panel of excellent speakers who will present cutting-edge advances in lymphoma and inflammation research - with the aim of identifying novel therapeutic strategies for lymphoma patients and accelerating the translation of major findings into clinical application.
The symposium will take place 21-22 February 2025 in person on the campus of the University Hospital of Cologne. We are looking forward to welcoming 200 researchers, from graduate students to research group leaders, who will be able to engage in stimulating scientific discussions.Â
The Collaborative Research Center 1530 has been designed to establish a translational research platform of excellence for clinicians and scientists with a demonstrated track record in researching B cell malignancies or the inflammatory processes involved in lymphoma.
Our primary goal is to leverage synergies to uncover pathomechanisms and identify innovative therapeutic strategies that extend beyond the lymphoma cell-autonomous level. We aim to foster close collaborations with research partners at universities in Cologne, Essen, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Heidelberg, as well as with major German lymphoma and leukemia study groups, to facilitate the rapid translation of significant findings into clinical trials.

The symposium takes place at the Center of Integrated Oncology (CIO), building 70, which is located on the campus of the University Hospital in Köln-Lindenthal. Scientific sessions will be held in room 3+4 on the ground floor of the CIO. Access to the main entrance is from Joseph-Stelzmann-Straße.
There are very few parking facilities, we recommend travelling by public transport.
